推力調心滾子軸承在運轉過程中,滾子受離心力作用,滾子和滾道之間產生相對滑動,導致軸、座圈分離,為了保證軸承正常工作,必須施加一定的
軸向載荷。當作用于軸承的實際軸向載荷小于最小載荷時,軸承必須予緊。
推力調心滾子軸承可承受向重載并且適用于很高的轉速。該軸承廣泛應用于軋鋼機、重型機床、石油鉆機、輪船大型立式電機及聯合掘進機等重型機械。
Thrust self-alignment roller bearing
Thrust self-alignment roller bearing can bear axial and radial loads simultaneously but the radial load must not exceed 55% of axial loads. The bearing has another advantage of self-alignment. Therefore, it is not sensitive to the axis non-concentricity and flexibility. As long as load P and P0 (P andP0 detonate equivalent rating static load respectively) don’t exceed 0.05C0(C0 denotes basic rating static load) and the axis race rotates, the bearing allows for a self-alignment angle within a certain range. The bearing allows for the self-alignment angles shown in the table below depending on different diameter series.
Small value is applicable for big bearing and allows to reduce self- alignment angle when load increases.
During running of self-alignment roller bearing, centrifugal force acts on the roller and relative slip exists between the roller and the raceway, which could cause the axis and the seat rings to be detached. Some axial loads must be applied to the bearing so as to ensure the bearing to be in a normal operation. When the actual axial load acting on the bearing is smaller than minimum axial load, the bearing must be fastened.
Thrust self-alignment roller bearings can bear heavy axial load and are applicable for high revolution. They are widely used in steel rolling mills, heavy-duly machine tools, petroleum rigs, large-sized vertical electric motors for ships and combined development machines.
